One of the 90s Talman clones!
Made in Korea (by Samick)
Serial: S95111034
Total weight: 7 lb 9.6 oz
A lot of similar designs were released in the 90s, but this guitar in particular feels like a Talman ripoff. It's a strange hybrid of a Talman and a strat. Surprisingly the build quality and playability are good! The neck is nice and thin, C shape similar to a Talman. The body is large and less curvy compared to a Talman; it's more similar to a Fender Strat. Photos included next to a Talman (TC830) for comparison.
The pickups are larger than traditional lipsticks, and don't really sound like a lipstick, they are brighter. I like them, they have their own charm.
Minimal to no fretwear! Sounds great and plays beautifully. It might not be as good as a Talman, but it's still a great guitar. And very cheap considering how nice it is!
Missing original tremolo arm, will come with a soft guitar bag.
