This guitar has original (and correct) hardware, nut, etc. There's very minimal fret wear! Tuning machines feel nice and tight. No major damage, see outline of blemishes below.

Tone pot replaced (by me) with correct alpha mini 500k, and 223k capacitor. At some point in the past the tone pot was changed and it was not correct at all (250k linear taper, 473k cap, full size, solid shaft). All other wiring and electronics are original. Note, the output jack is original and can crackle if cable is moved around a lot. Tone pot wiring slightly improved by grounding center lug (60s style wiring), to reduce stray electromagnetic interference. 5-way switch screws are aftermarket (black finish). Original screws were missing and black looks better with the other worn hardware instead of bright, new chrome.

Guitar was fully disassembled (for documenting and cleaning) then correctly setup. Original tremolo arm was missing, but it comes with a non-original tremolo arm (has a white tip). It also comes with a Fender brand hard case.

Setup:
  • polish frets
  • clean and oil fretboard (Nomad F-ONE)
  • Nomad TUNE-IT lubricant on nut and saddles
  • Ernie Ball Slinky 9-42 strings
  • original (graphite) nut, slot depths are OK
  • neck realigned
  • removed truss rod nut and lubricated the threads with tri-flow
  • adjusted truss rod, neck relief to .013" (.330mm)
  • deoxidize and lubricate all electronics
  • bridge pins set to ~8mm (top to body)
  • rear of bridge floating, ~3.5mm off body
  • string height and pickup heights adjusted
  • intonation adjusted
  • airline tubing inside rear springs to dampen spring noise
  • carnuba wax on body

String heights @12th (hold 1st):
  • E 2mm
  • A 2.25mm
  • D 2.5mm
  • G 2.4mm
  • B 2.25mm
  • e 1.6mm

Pickup heights:
  • Neck: low side 2mm, high side 1.6mm
  • Middle: low side 2mm, high side 1.6mm
  • Bridge: low side 1.7mm, high side 0.7mm

Blemishes:
  • Hairline crack in the clear coat (gravure finish) on the front of the guitar, lower left (arm contour area). It's not very noticeable, even in person, unless light hits it at specific angles. Note, it is very common for finish cracks to be all over gravure finish guitars.
  • Small dent (up and to the right of the arm contour finish crack)
  • Finish cracks near neck pocket (very common on Talmans)
  • Finish cracks near lower strap button
  • Lipstick pickups show typical wear
  • Screws are slightly tarnished
  • Rear plastic cover has cracks near screws (also common)
  • Dents on headstock
  • Minor scuffs, scratches, dents, and surface wear (see photos)

Note, I'm just being thorough here. Overall I'd still rate this guitar excellent condition!
